The first Michael Chekhov International Theatre
Festival in Ridgefield
commemorated
the 70th anniversary
of the birth of the Michael Chekhov Theatre Studio
in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
With the
success of the festival in 2009, it was decided that it would be an
annual event, making Ridgefield a destination of international
distinction. If you cherish the memory of
this great actor, teacher, and humanitarian or if you would like
to learn more about Michael Chekhov, we invite you
to be a part of
the Second Michael Chekhov Theatre Festival and
to spend the weekend of August 27th, 28th, and
29th, 2010, in beautiful, historic Ridgefield where the Michael
Chekhov School Studio began in America.
